COVID-19 update for all care home visitors & staff

From Thursday 26th January 2023, Mariposa Care Group Ltd have now made the decision to cease the use of face masks and face coverings for staff in all Mariposa and Papillon care homes; unless the home is identified as being in an active COVID-19 outbreak.

We will continue to follow all Government guidance regarding the management of COVID-19 and keep you updated of any changes as they develop. We recognise that COVID-19 has not gone away and as such have advised our teams to all remain vigilant in monitoring residents, staff and visitors who display symptoms. To assist with this, we will also be keeping our thermal cameras in place and urge you to be patient if our staff do question you about your wellbeing in relation to COVID-19 symptoms.

As always, the health and wellbeing of our residents and staff teams remain our highest priority, and we ask that you help us continue to keep everyone as safe as possible by not visiting the care home if you feel unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19.
